The baby weighs as much as a rutabaga this week...about 1 1/2 lbs. It's about 13 1/2 inches long head to heel. The baby has a distinct hair color (but that could change after birth). She/he is getting some fat which is smoothing out his/her skin. His/her bones are hardening and the brain is growing rapidly.
This is cool...it really looks like a baby...this is what the baby should look like at 25 weeks!
My mom sent out baby shower invitations last week, and she made them herself. They are SUPER cute...and the fruit is because of the fruit/veggie theme I've got going here on the blog.
I can't believe I'm going to have a baby shower in a month! That is crazy!
