Ok, I realize I haven't blogged since Nov. 21, 2010. What can I say? I have been busy. I own a store, that I lovingly (or not) call the LifeSucker, and I have been working towards something for the last 6 or so months, and now that it's getting towards the finish, it's been a LOT of work. Mostly because I procrastinate. And, I'm busy. There is also a 2 year old that takes up a bit of my time too.
Anyway, excuses aside, I'm going to catch up and blog again. I will never remember this stuff when it comes time to scrapbook if I don't. Scrapbook? What's that?
So, I am going to start nice and easy, with a short, making pizza post. Back in December, we were watching Marcel and making pizza. Potato Leek Pizza. Yes, I realize that potato leek pizza is like the worst choice ever when you are feeding 2 toddlers. But, I'm not that good at meal planning yet, ok? We did think the 2 toddlers would enjoy making it. And they did.
Cute kids. They hated the pizza. We will get better at this! The pizza, well, it wasn't great, in their defense. The leeks were awesome, and the bacon, and the fresh mozzerella. The goat cheese, and the potatoes? Not great. Pioneer Woman think potatoes are great on pizza. She must use a mandolin slicer. Our potatoes were sliced to thickly and I think didn't cook well enough. So, yeah, half raw, cold potato on your pizza isn't good.
