Funapalooza

Kelly's school has a Funapalooza event every year, and she always invites us....last year we went but Jack couldn't really participate much...this year we thought he'd have more fun, and boy, did he!!

There was this inflatable obstacle course that big kids were going on....we thought Jack could handle it, I see him climb stuff at Gymboree, so we stuck him in there...

I see how this photo might make me look like a bad mom, but I swear it didn't look this bad in real life, and he was laughing the whole time!

John took  him down the big inflatable slide...

Now I'm all caught up!   Next blog post...Memorial weekend!

Jack's first wedding/Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day weekend in Lafayette, Indiana for my mom's cousin Mark's wedding.  It was quite an adventure getting there, and we ended up being 20 minutes late, and missing the entire ceremony.  John and I are Catholic and we forget that non-Catholic weddings can be very short!

We did get there in time for dinner and dancing though and Jack danced the night away!! He LOVED it and everyone loved watching him!

Before I forget, here is one of the happy new married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ehle!

And now, here is Jack getting down....

Taking a break....

not for long!

We were some of the last to leave, and Jack danced all the way until the end!!  He slept well that night!

The next day, before we left we went to a little free zoo in Lafayette.

First we played on the playground...

Jack LOVES slides.

Then off to the zoo!  Note:  there isn't a single animal in these pictures.

This is the only mother's day picture we got and it's in one of the prairie dog head things.

And finally, my mother's day gift....I LOVE IT!!   I'm not much of a designer label type person, but I do love Coach bags.   I've never owned a real one though.....until now!!  A Coach diaper bag!!

Flip City

I will catch up on blogging....

Last month, we went to a playdate at All World Gym/Flip City.  It's a trampoline/tumbling gym that they open up every morning for an hour to toddlers to come play on the trampolines and foam pits.   It was really fun!  I lost my lens cap in the foam pit though.

He got so comfortable here in the foam pit, he dozed off for a second!   All the running around wore him out!

18 Months

I figure before he's 19 months old I should post about 18 months :)

So, I really regret stopping the photo a day thing, so I decided at 18 months I'd better get the camera back out before I start scrapbooking again and wonder where all the pictures are.

Jack is 20 lbs, 30 inches, off the charts small.  But, he's healthy and happy, and that is all that matters.  He says around 50 words, and is getting really really smart!   This age is amazing, he picks up stuff so fast now!  He loves to make animal noises and point out facial features.  Especially eyes.   That's not fun when your face is the one he's using.  Teeth is weird too.

It was beautiful day on April 21, so we went outside to play, and the boys across the street were outside too, and Jack LOVES to play with them!

There are a lot of pictures.  I just can't choose, he's cute!

This one is my favorite!
