St. Patrick's Day

I'm trying to keep up on blogging, I really am.

John and I ran a 5K the weekend before St. Patrick's Day.  We had only trained for a week, so it wasn't pretty.  But, we did it :)

Kelly and Tyler held our St. Patrick's Day party this year.  They had an ulterior motive that we didn't find out about until later.  I had taken a walk downtown with Jack earlier, because it was a beautiful day!  I think it was 65, maybe warmer.  I found a great headband for him to wear to the party.

Here is Jack and Grandpa with Garzo, Jack's not too sure...I don't think he recognizes Garzo as a dog.

Kelly put on a workout DVD, and Jack in his headband was ready to work out!

And, finally before dinner, the ulterior motive was revealed!  Kelly had written an Irish blessing for John's Dad to read...and in it was the news that Kelly was pregnant!  We were all so excited!

Fun times with Marcel!

We babysat Marcel last weekend for a while, and so Jack and Marcel got to spend some quality time together.  It consisted of mostly Marcel taking toys from Jack, and Jack trying to prevent Marcel from playing with his.  If you have seen the 2 boys, you will know who won! 

We decided to move them outside where there aren't any toys to fight over, and things went much better.

Jack's wagon is a 2 seater, so John took them on a little wagon ride and they both loved it!!  They had a great time.  Marcel kept telling Jack to "hold on!"  He wanted John to go through all the puddles too.  

On Sunday, we went to the Family Hootenanny, a fundraiser for a Ferndale school.  It was PACKED!  They had a band playing kids music, and Jack had a good time shaking maracas and watching.
