10 months old!

I can't believe in 2 months Jack will be ONE!

He's still a peanut, wearing 6-9 month clothes. (The onesie he's wearing in the picture is actually 3-6 months). We have a weight check sometime soon. Can't wait for that.

Jack is SO much fun right now! He loves to clap, he waves goodbye (with his whole arm) and LOVES LOVES LOVES to stand. He wants to stand EVERY where!

He really loves his bath now, he splashes the WHOLE time he's in it!

We have been fighting thrush for a while now, we are on to trying Gentian Violet, which turns your mouth purple...(so lots of photos you may notice some purple tint around his mouth.

Jack also is now starting to play peek a boo! Here he was pulling my shirt over his face and then waiting...and pulling it down laughing! It was so cute!

He loves Puffs, and Mum Mums...here he is eating a Mum Mum...

And bedtime is still an issue. He's such a night owl. Tonight it was 11:30 before he was asleep.

I guess I have to start thinking about a birthday party!

Sick

We are all sick. John is the least sick, then Jack, and I was on my deathbed on Friday. Jack started it all. Just a cold, and I nearly had a temperature of 102 on Friday night! We are starting to feel better now.

Saturday was the Woodward Dream Cruise, so we thought maybe a walk would make us feel better. It did! We really felt pretty good after our walk!

Business is going well! We have been open for almost 2 weeks, and we've had orders every day! I have my first class on Wednesday night, I'm a little nervous about that!

Busy Busy Busy!

Wow, have I been busy! I have been working non stop! I'm either taking care of Jack, or working on the store. Adding product to the website is so time comsuming. Since most of the day is spent with Jack, I'm up late doing store stuff! We will open either sometime tomorrow or Wednesday, hopefully!!

Here is a picture of the progress. After I posted the last picture with our sad shelves for our stock, someone offered us a great deal on cubes! They are FANTASTIC and perfect for our diapers!

Speaking of the store, we have a blog at www.nopinsrequired.blogspot.com, and we have a facebook page! Click here and become a fan!

At Katie's birthday party on Friday I got some great pictures of Jack and Marcel playing with hot wheels!

Last week we had Jack's 9 month appointment. It didn't go so well. He only weighs 16 lbs, 7 oz. He's always been little, but around the 10th percentile. Now he's below the 5th and I guess that makes doctors worry, when they cross percentiles. It honestly just makes me feel like I'm failing him. The doctor wants me to feed him more solids, but he should grow just fine on breastmilk alone. It makes me worry about my supply, but he doesn't seem hungry, I let him eat whenever he wants. I had no idea how emotional this breastfeeding business would make me. First in the very beginning, and now this. He's healthy, and happy, so I think he's fine, I just wish the doctor would agree. But, I am feeding him more now, he's getting 3 meals a day and snacks too! I just hope he doesn't get less milk because of all this food!

Here are a couple pictures from today, he LOVES this toy, but he will only play with it standing up! And he's not so good at standing!
