We have a logo!

Here is our No Pins Required logo! We are very happy with it! A No Pins Required blog is in the works, so I won't have to post updates here, I will post them on that blog (that hopefully will have SOME readers??).

Shortly we should have a web site, business cards, brochures, postcards, a banner and t-shirts!

We have been ordering stock like crazy. It's been coming in and we are slowly inventory-ing it and finding a place to put it! I just hope we have ordered the stuff people want to buy! This is what our stock room looks like now, with not that much in it yet!

We would like to open by Aug. 1. If not then, sometime that week, because we are doing 2 shows that weekend! We will be a vendor at the Green Cruise in Ferndale on August 8, and at a La Leche League Picnic on Sunday August 9!

The one thing holding us up is the former owner has been having some health issues and we have not been able to get together for her to teach me the shopping cart! Does anyone know a good way to learn Zen Cart?

9 Months old!

Wow! 9 months! Jack has been outside of my body for the same amount of time he was inside of me! Crazy!

Jack is moving like crazy now! He is doing a strange army crawl, but he uses his legs too, but he's not on his knees...and he still rolls everywhere. Rolling is still his preferred choice, but if he has to move forward, he does do the crawling thing.

I'm trying to get him to eat non-pureed food, but that isn't going well. He will eat his organic puffs (dissolvable cheerio like things) and he will tolerate pieces of banana and squished blueberries, but he prefers everything pureed. Can you get pureed food in college cafeterias?

He loves to stand, and tries to pull up on everything. He can't really do it on his own though. He loves wires, and he likes to chew on them. And, he throws a temper tantrum when we take the wires away from him. He also likes to try to eat paper. He won't eat a banana, but he'll eat wires and paper all day!

He talks a lot...he says "dadadadadada" and "babababababa" and a little tiny bit of "mamama" but none of it means anything, it's just babbling.

Sleep has really regressed. He used to fall asleep on his own, he used to go to bed around 8ish. Bedtime is terrible now, and we have been co-sleeping for about a month or so. I don't think he'll ever go back into his crib now. Everyone talks about sleep training, but I just can't let him cry. Neither can John. And I believe that our instincts to hold him when he cries are right. It goes against human instinct to let a baby cry. So, we'll deal with it. He sleeps pretty good once he's asleep, it's just getting there that is the problem.

He claps now! Only when he wants to, though.

We haven't had our Dr. appointment yet, but he's still a little guy, he's just into 6-9 month clothes! I like having a little baby, and he gets a lot of wear out of his clothes!

Oh and I almost forgot, he has 6 teeth! He got 4 top teeth in all at the same time! You can kind of see the top teeth in this picture, if you click on it.

I will post a store update tomorrow.

He crawls!

Well, he army crawls, and it's a struggle, and he needs the right motivation....a ball, or a cell phone.

4th of July weekend

We went to my Uncle Dan and Aunt Jennifer's house for the 4th of July in Indiana. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy all weekend, so no swimming for Jack! We are going to do a 4th of July re-do another weekend this summer!

Despite the rain, we had a good time! Here are some pictures!

Danielle loved Jack! She was really good with him all weekend, and he loved the attention!

This isn't a good picture, but Jack loved Uncle Steve's beard!! He loved to touch it!

We went to the Chesterfield 4th of July parade. This is me and Jack before it started. Once it started, Jack was miserable. The fire engines were too loud, the shiners little scooters were too loud....so he cried a little and then took a nap.

Look at my tattoo!

Uncle Dan's truck in the parade!

It rained too, and Jack wanted to hold the umbrella.

Grandpa joined the kids to grab the candy!

We visited Pappy and Aunt Robin while we were in town.

The girls swam in the cold rain.

Getting ready to watch fireworks!

Jack really liked the fireworks!

On the way home in his big boy carseat. He slept nearly the whole way!
